Hibs hate us…just like celtic…and because of that,they will Not give us a finacial deal.
They will charge Porteous, way over our attempt to even sign him, thats a REALITY for us…
Best to ignore them and find someone else from another team.
It’s difficult to argue Broxi’s point here, and it’s the same one that weighs down my argument for Rangers to go for Kamberi.
Look at what happened with Scott Allan. Hibs were determined not to let Rangers sign him because they were a direct rival. Then Celtic in and they couldn’t accept it quick enough.
Even look at the summer when Hibs rejected Celtic’s offers for John McGinn. They’re now direct rivals, and Villa came in and Hibs accepted the first bid.
Hibs are notoriously difficult to deal with for Rangers now. Their fans revel in being able to reject offers from the Old Firm. Makes them feel bigger than they are in my view, as good a side as Hibs are.
With regards to Porteous, he’s one to watch.,…only for the right price though.
