Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Derby County left-back Max Lowe [Daily Record]. Currently on-loan at Aberdeen, the highly rated 22-year-old has had an impressive season in Scotland. Derby are thought to have big plans for the player’s future, but they are reportedly open to him going out on-loan again next year. Left-back has proven…

At the time of writing, our Left Back resources are down to Barisic, Flanagan, Halliday and Wallace. Not sure I would categorise that as incredibly light.
Agreed Wallace is unlikely to be there next season, but even then three options is not bad.

The key to a great run of results is a consistent team lineup where players know each others game inside out. A big part of our downfall is lack of consistency both at Left back and in Central Defence in other words apart from Tavernier our defence has been all over the place. So if Gerrard does not get it settled we will have same issues in the new season. My priority would be sort out discipline/Morelos situation then sort out left back position. With Europe in mind I would prefer someone with a bit of experience preferably in Europe, certainly not a 22 year old who is not even wanted as a 1st team player with Derby. As for who is left if they cannot be trusted move them on, we need to be ruthless if we are to see more progress. We need guys who can hack it at top level not guys who cannot even get a start for their parent clubs in the championship I include Greg Stewart in this also. I worry this is about weakening Aberdeen not strengthening Rangers. As for Goldson and Katic I am happy with them, but we need back up.
