There’s been some utterly absurd frustration levelled at Rangers when things have went wrong this year, but none are as bizarre as that levelled at James Tavernier. One week the Rangers captain is a world beater. The next he’s to be stripped of his captaincy for the crime of not shouting loud enough. It’s bonkers.…
It solves nothing. The problem is we don’t concede many goals (when was the last time we actually conceded more than 1 in a fixture?) and that people like to moan about things.
As fans, we have a lot to address in terms of our behaviour towards our own players.
It’s shameful the way he is singled out by a small but vocal section of our support who obviously know little about football.He is by far the best footballer at the club & these fans wont realise how good he is till he is gone. Lets enjoy him & some others while we have them & stop piling pressure on individuals after games where we’ve slipped up. We win lose & draw as a team, yes individuals will make a mistake here and there but they are human and not robots.we cant keep on with this scapegoat culture or we will never move forward & win anything. Why did Ejaria leave ??? Not saying I know the reason or was his biggest fan but you have to wonder.
This is just the latest example of hysterical scapegoating by the twitterati . They want Tav stripped of the captaincy , they want Worrall sent back to Forest , they want Goldson dropped , they want Flanagan freed , they make up legend stories about Coulibaly and then when his form dips they want him sent back to Angers for stealing a living from us, they want Middleton in before Kent as he is one of our own , now they want him sent back to the u20s.We , right minded people ignore them because we trust the manager knows more about football than people who cannot go 90 mins without reaching for their phones to write pish for the world to see.

Some fans are dumb as fork
Same way I feel but think some times he needs 2trust his team m8s when hes not on his game .his delivery is sometimes terrible and he needs 2 trust others .but hes always a 7out off 10every game
Tav is a good player going forward and taking dead ball frees and penalties. He’s not good at tackling…in most teams the Captain leads by example and then can gee up the rest of the team to get stuck in! So, why would anybody be motivated to tackle harder by Tav?
