We were trying to bring Kent in when Candeias was still at the club .Gerrard did say that he would look for a replacement for Candeias so thats what Barker is .Its possible that we will still go for Kent if he becomes available but we can`t afford to just sit back and wait.
IMO The Kent story still bubbles on, if not sold he will not be stuck in the under’s, last minute loan deal to Rangers still possible.
Another left winger. 2 goals & 2 assists last year in around 800 odd minutes of professional football is a decent return for a young 1. Also has a bundle of goals & assists in the Premier league 2. Not 2 bad. Don’t mind signing him but he’s a another leftie lol
