Goalie - If Fod goes, either bring Alnwick back or use McCrorie
Defence - for CB why not Halkett part of a defence only beaten by Rangers and Celtic, out of contract in 6 months and an ex-Rangers player. LB, don’t know enough to comment but believe we have been linked w 19yr old at Spurs
Midfield - First job is to decide who stays. Halliday, Coulibaly, Ejaria, Rossiter, Jack, McCrorie? For me Coulibaly and Ejaria should go, McCrorie should be loaned if not played. Is Dorrans ready to return? Is there any evidence that Davis still has the legs for it? If not, don’t bother. Docherty, like McCrorie has to play, here or on loan. Otherwise they don’t improve.
Attack - desperately need a striker, even on loan. Hardie and Dallas may be there next year so a loan would do. Solanke would be perfect, or Shankland, or both with Shankland on a pre-contract, loaned back to Ayr for 18 months to see if he can score in the Premier League. Also need cover at No 10 if Dorrans and Murphy not fit to cover Arfield. If we had enough strikers, would like to see Morelos tried there. Said in summer we could regret letting Windass go
