Millie’s pitch is horrible, it’s not the same for both teams as they train on it daily. Killie, are also one of the best counter attacking teams in Scotland, however, we did gift them a goal.
The only issue last night was accommodating Davies. He is a good player, but the game passed him by. We should have played RK wide left and DC wide right, SA attacking and RJ holding. If we are playing a flat four, then they need support.
We got it wrong last night, it’s annoying and frustrating, but I believe we will get it right. With guys like McGregor (he was fuming) who knows what we are about, we will succeed.
