I am not entirely convinced that Jones should go, but do admit if he does go then it was because of his act of stupidity during the Celtic game, borne out of frustration and only has himself to blame.
Flanagan it was a no brainer to snap him up on a free and if he showed what he was capable of in his younger years it would have been a good piece of business, but unfortunately he hasn’t lived up to expectations, so he goes.
Barker… apart from the Porto game away he has practically done nothing.
This was a strange buy and I personally think he was a Mark Allen purchase and dumped on Gerrard.

Jordan Jones has been treated shabbily
I don’t have any respect for Steven Gerrard on that decision, especially when :-
Ryan Jack was sent off every third game at the outset
Morelos thus far has been treated like a long lost Son
Kent has eaten up all our transfer fee and been no better than Jordan Jones or Glen Middleton
Ojo and Aribo given preferential treatment
This is not the solution. We need to shake our first team. We need to find proper leader in midfield, solid centreback and new striker, apart from prolong Hagi.

We sign too many squad players who fall short when asked to step up. We need to stop signing quantity and refocus on signing players who are genuinely as good or better than we have. It is likely due to our budget constraints but we are signing players who are clearly not up to the demand of playing for Rangers. They still cost money. Barker was a panic signing and I’d guess made because we decided Kent wasn’t going to happen. We then take 7 million we don’t have and sign Kent. We’re bouncing about a bit and need to focus and ensure we get value for money with every signing… as much as is feasible.

Agree that it’s strange how little we’ve seen of Jones. When he signed I doubted whether he’d be good enough to be a starter, but he can definitely be a good impact player from the bench as he’s shown for Northern Ireland, yet is either excluded from squads or left unused.
I don’t know about three players in my opinion up to about eight should go? We could do with a couple of captain type players on the park that can boss the headless chickens about and make sure the managers instruction are carried out! As far as Trav goes he will never be a captain as long as he has a hole in his arse? The man keeps taking free kicks and corners and never finds a team mate,why? Because he is the captain not because he is adept in what he does as a footballer? Sell the clown.
