Swansea winger Barrie McKay didn’t so much jump at the chance to leave Ibrox. He was more firmly nudged. Pedro Caixinha the one holding the door open for him as he left. The Portguese Manager scythed through the Rangers team taking out some of our biggest assets. The likes of Martyn Waghorn, Barrie McKay and…

Have to say I think this story is bollocks bears should remember the early rumours that warbs was going to forest .
McKay refused two contract extensions and ended up at same club as warbs .
Come on to fk !

I was no fan of Pedro but all he asked McKay to do was work back and support Wallace who he left exposed constantly .Wee Barrie downed tools at this point and was rightly dropped ,Neither you nor he should rewrite history .Even under Warbs he flattered to deceive having half a dozen good games followed by weeks of crap.We should have got more money for him , but he was running out of contract and was prepared to run his contract out so he held all the cards .His performances at Forest and Swansea havent suggested we made that big a mistake and we now have 4 or 5 wingers all better than him .He can beg all he wants , but cant see him ever coming back to Rangers .

No chance I afraid. I enjoyed watching him when he played well, however, he could not play in this side.
Gerrard demands that we defend from up top, Morelos, DC, RK etc all tracking back and making big tackles, McKay would not be that player.

I’ll always be grateful for the goal he scored against Celtic, but for me, his head dropped to often and his heart was not truly at the club.
