I think Lee Wallace’s career at Ibrox was over after he was suspended by the club. He’s been unlucky with injuries, but even if he didn’t have these, he still wouldn’t be in the squad
I agree with your point that there are better options than Wallace. Halliday has filled in well at left back and Barisic looks more settled in the position than Wallace ever has done.
Spot on Ben, it’s fair to see the future looked bleak for Wallace even when he was suspended.
For me, this all but confirms he has no future at Ibrox. Gerrard prefers Barisic and Halliday, and rightly so. Wallace’s days are surely numbered. It’s a shame how it’s all ended considering he stuck by the club during the dark days.
