Constant changes have hampered any momentum the defence have picked up. When Goldson returns, it could give Rangers the stability at the back which has escaped Gerrard for the majority of the season. Katic is a big part of that. When fit he has looked like Rangers’ most comfortable defender, so it is key for Gerrard that he remains fit.
