Stat comparison shows exactly why Rangers trail Celtic

It’s no secret that Rangers have fallen short too many times in the league this season. Steven Gerrard’s side has shown glimpses of mounting a challenge. The Old Firm win at Ibrox, late winners at St Johnstone and the like. Ryan Jack looked to have started a genuine contest for the title back in December.…

You can spin it how you wish, for example, both teams have lost four times. Celtic have scored one more goal than us, and have three players in the top ten goal scorers, Rangers only have two players in top ten, yet are only one goal behind.
So, do teams shut up shop more against Rangers, or do Celtic have better players at shutting them down.
In my opinion, more teams want to beat Rangers. Aberdeen play four games a year, now add Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Hibs to that list. So therefore, draws have cost us. Celtic players are not targeted by teams, Morelos is.
Referee decisions are neither here nor there.
So to sum the statistics up, we are a new team with a new manager who are both learning, we need to turn draws into wins, pull up our big boy pants and start bullying teams.
Remember, no one likes us, and we don’t care.
