Cowdenbeath finance director David Allan has called for the SPFL to make the season’s standings final and avoid clubs like Rangers finding themselves in a “Dallas scenario.” The Fifers sit fourth in League Two and Allan doesn’t think the SPFL should replicate “Bobby Ewing’s dream season” and expect everyone to just forget that it happened.…
Again this guy is basing his whole argument on his need for cash .They cannot call this season just because Cowdenbeath are skint , they pay their players buttons anyway so what can their outgoings be.
The league must start up again , finish, have a break and then if necessary alterations made to NEXT season when everyone will be aware of the rules in advance . Bin cups if necessary , alter European tourneys to straight knockout , reduce SPFL leagues to home and away so that it will be played over 22 games .Whatever it takes ,but, next season.
