I still rate McInnes personally - he’s done a great job at Aberdeen all things considered - I honestly think he looked at the Rangers job at the time and thought it was beyond him to get the club anywhere near Celtic - and to be fair it looked a poisoned chalice at that stage we were in such a state after Caixinha.
Gerrard without a doubt has been the right choice
