I am tempted to agree, although at least one of them is allegedly a midfielder.
But, Only Barisic covers LB. Halliday is a midfielder, Flanagan has no left foot and Wallace is on the way out.
If Tavernier was sold, in January or the summer and there seems to be a good chance, then Flanagan would need backup. I appreciate Jack can fill in there, but he is considered a first choice in midfield.
So he may just be checking his options
