I think he would be an amazing signing for anyone up here. He’s a lot better than the likes of Joey Barton, for example.
Really take your point though, nothing looks probably here and Gerrard will likely have his eye on players with more realistic wage demands than Toure is likely to be looking for.
He may well be(is) better than Joey Barton. But I think we have moved well past that. Nobody, but nobody would want Joey Barton back.
We need a young, fast, affordable, technically gifted AM. Yaya is neither young, fast nor affordable.

Wilst there has been plenty of slower players in Scotand, Toure’s wage-demands would put an end to this idea. You could probably bet Celtic would be interested too if Rangers were able to afford him. His brother is over there too.
