Agreed Jimmy it was a no brainer really free transfer, small wages, natural goalscorer and a blue nose to boot.

Opportunity missed instead we sign Hastie, who had half a season of decent form, very strange.

Agreed totally. Hastie had a total of 13 top games. Did we sign the wrong M’well player?

And letting Dallas go Hardie go, POTENTIAL of losing Middleton, I ask if the homework is as good as stated. Check Grezda, injured, Rossitter injured UNTIL HE EXITS IBROX.

Watch Glen Middleton run amok and make Gerarrd wonder why he fkd up. Glenn Middleton and McCrorie and McPake etc should not be allowed to leave Rangers.

No we shouldnt have signed him , hes still scoring goals in a lower league so the only thing he has going for him is that he`s a Bluenose , so what .So is Lafferty and he was pish .
Besides as soon as he failed to get a game or score in the first couple of games the same fans who are praising him would have written him off ( see above re Hastie and Ojo ) .
By the way , Middleton and McCrorie have not been allowed to LEAVE Rangers they are being loaned out to play games and as far as I can see McPake is still at the club.
Hardie was never going to cut it and I bet that most people had never even seen Dallas play so how would they know whether he was going to make it .
So , lets trust the manager and his staff and not slag him for not signing a bang average striker who could only attract interest from a desperate team in the league he was already in.

I thought we should have signed him but I was talked down from my opinion by ‘more knowledgeable’ fans.
Seems we probably should have taken a better look at him.

No we should not have signed him and this is why.

  1. We need a proven goalscorer at a much higher level.

  2. We need someone with a different skill set to Morelos and Dafoe.

  3. We lack a big strong guy who can terrorise defences in Europe and against Aberdeen Celtic.

  4. This season we will need to rely on Goldson and Katic or whoever is in central defence to score goals shankland was not the answer.

  5. Being a Rangers supporter does not make you a good player.

  6. Shankland not as good as what we have we need guys who can push our forwards not sit on the bench

  7. We need to stop 9 in a row taking chances on unproven players who have not done it in a higher league is not on.

  8. We need a guy who can score against Celtic has European experience and has ability to do better than what we have already.
