Scott Brown Rangers Celtic decision highlights terrible SFA consistency

Originally published at: https://www.rangersnews.uk/news/scott-brown-rangers-celtic-decision-highlights-terrible-sfa-consistency/

Another month goes by, another outpouring of hysteria over Scottish football’s Teflon Don Scott Brown. The Celtic captain can apparently do no wrong in the eyes of the powers that be in Scotland. He’s been cleared of his classless goading of Rangers fans last month, and he wasn’t even cited for his tragic dive against…

Man up and dry your eyes…

Why don’t you actually address the inconsistencies, which was the point of the article? Explain why they are not inconsistent, or justify the different decisions. Or is that beyond you? Thought so.

The inconsistencies that are relevant are mentioned. Halliday n Mcinnes, the only two comparable incidents are mentioned, which resulted in different action to Brown. Hallidays was mental, he wasnt anywhere near any fans. That’s this inconsistency.

But over the season, I doubt many clubs would say the referees have been consistent. Maybe it’s the standard the SFA set, maybe the refs just aren’t up to it, maybe we need VAR. I honestly dont know, I think our compliance officer has been a joke n should go. But I couldn’t say the way forward, i can say that our disciplinary system is a joke as a fan though. Our games rated lowly enough without having a disciplinary system that doesn’t work.

Dry your eyes.

The stench of bitterness is reeking from this article. It’s a shame the real issue about the assaults on brown are being swept under the carpet.

For the record Mr Haladay got a second yellow card which resulted in sending off. At the very worst Brown deserved a yellow card not a red and a two game suspension. Also did not Kent i the same game antagonist Celtic fans by running 50 yards in front of them telling them to shoosh. None of these offences Haladay, Brown or Kent deserved any cards imho.

Alright there Joe McKenzie.
If there was ever an expert on sweeping things under the carpet, it’s surely your club, or separate entity, if you will.
The point being made is that Lego seems to have been dealt with differently from say, McInnes or Haliday, both of whom were red carded.
Separate rules, separate entity. The tail is wagging the dog.
Roll on 55, and it will happen, so that you bitter, bitter “know alls” really will have assaults to answer for.
As you allude to, the victims should be heard, but Lego is not a victim.
Go in peace, WATP

Got to agree the C.O. decisions, and in fact some of the citations have been ludicrous. All fans can highlight decisions that go against them, many through the “proverbial” tinted glasses.
Being a Celtic fan i’m going to look at my clubs captain through green glasses, but changing the lenses to clear set,i can’t see what Brown did wrong, the main charge against him from Rangers fans seems to be the gesture he made at the end of the match, they claim it was made to them, but pictures show he actually was facing the Celtic fans when making the gesture,it most probably was meant as a GIRUY to all associated at Rangers, after the last game at Ibrox when Celtic never turned up and Rangers dominated, after the game the Rangers players celebrated in front of the Celtic players,Arfield in particular goading Brown on the pitch and off it aided by the only too willing smsm, fair enough, but Brown and the rest of the Celtic players took it all in,left the pitch already looking to the march fixture to gain back their pride and revenge.Brown as captain especially thinking ahead and his tactics on the day of the last game worked, with Rangers players reacting to Browns tactics of smiling, smirking and laughing in Halidays face, highly infuriating the Rangers man,who raced about 40yrds to face up to Brown to confront him, why?because he was celebrating in front of Rangers fans, why?the match ended while Brown was at the edge of the pitch when the final whistle went, the emotion of the winning the game gaining bragging rights, and more importantly the points which more or less won the league all poured out and Brown gave the GIRUY but it wasn’t facing the Rangers fans.Ther was 60,000 Celtis fans in the stadium, thosands either side of the tiniest of wedges of Rangers fans, who normaly wouldn’t be there but for Dave Kings atmosphere spoiling decision to tamper with decades of traditional ticket allocation.
Brown has been in the heads of Rangers fans heads for years just like Neil Lennon did,and still does,Brown simply used it to his tams advantage and the Rangers players were suckered in,wth Haliday in particular"losing it" and of course the fans watching at home then and since looking for some retribution on Brown, who if their honest with themselves, played a blinder.

Incidentally, dafuq are all you dhims doing on a Rangers forum?
Talk about fi.ckin obsessed? You guys really do take the soggy biscuit.

Actually dumbun this article was on celticnewsnow a Celtic site, obsessed yes,i’m obsessed but only with watching, hearing and reading you currants squirm as you watch the champions march onwards to #no8 #no9 then the holy grail #no10.
We actually have more chance of reaching #55,55 in a furkin row in fact, because you have no chance as Rangers are no more. You and your minted buisness “Rangers” supporting suits let your club die,WATP,don’t make me laugh.

Forgot to put in ,after the Ibrox game the Celtic players left the pitch instantly unlike therangers players who stood around on the pitch why? i can only imagine they were waiting for,or waiting to cause a flare up,Haliday never let them down,or did he?

Funny you justify your not obsessed by saying Rangers News is not a Rangers forum it’s a story that’s came up on Celtic Now News. I ignore the Celtic blogs and articles that come up on Rangers News Now. Secondly your not obsessed but registered for a Rangers forum site to comment on a story?

Oh dear gogfuq, as mentioned above, you’ve logged on to an RFC forum. Totally obsessed.
Suspect you’re a young dhim. Too young to remember your original club. The Celtic Football and Athletic coy. Ltd.
Well, it used to be on yer stinkin badge, before wee Fergus turned you into Pacific Shelf ltd.
But I’m sure ‘ye know yur histury’. Such a shame that your present incumbents choose to sweep the more unsavoury episodes under that big carpet. A club like no other right enough. Tick tock.
Ironic that the ever victimised, always cheated, never defeated refuse to acknowledge the real victims of your sordid past.
Separate entity indeed.
Peace be with you. WATP

Just soooooo bitter.

The argument you put across with obsession etc is classic deflection tactics. In fact, similar to sevco Ltd attempting to blame brown for there failings on the pitch.

10 is gonna make you bitter clowns explode, cant wait to hear who’s to blame.
