A number of developments involving Ryan Kent’s status at Liverpool, hint he could be nearing a permanent Anfield exit. On Sunday, Jurgen Klopp delivered a blow by effectively ruling out his return to Rangers on loan. However, he left the door open for a move away. “At the age he is now, he needs to…

This was always the likely outcome, following Kent’s excellent loan last year. There’s good and bad about loans. We had the good last year, built up the young man’s reputation and now the bad is that we cannot afford £10 - 12 million to buy him! The good bits about loans come when you have a player like Coulibaly, who started off well, but fell away badly. Then you say “thank goodness we didn’t sign him on a 3-year Contract” and send him back.

Hopefully, Portsmouth will be in our position next May, when McCrorie has helped them back into the Championship, in England. We’ll want him back and they’ll be bemoaning the loan system.

Unfortunately, that’s football these days!

I don’t think Kent will be as big a miss as we think I honestly think Liverpool have used Rangers as a breeding ground, she Kent arrived he was worth £2mil. After a year at Rangers they know value him at £10mil.without costing them any money so they are are now going to send a guy out of their club to anybody who pays their value to a club he might not settle.

The question about RK is what happens if no club buys him before the English transfer window closes?if JK still wants to move RK on it then puts Rangers in a very good bargaining position
