Hell, we paid that for Barisic and half that for Morelos. I think they are both a better bargain.
He needs to be looking for people who will gave significant sell on value, given that he will get some wrong.

Aaron Hickey?? ok scored a blinder v Hibs but not hit the headlines before or after. Not saying he is not a good player BUT £2m,??? we have talent in abundance at our Academy don’t know how they will compare / set up against Mr Hickey, but don’t think taking a chance on another £2m player is good sense or business we have been burnt before and still playing their tune re wages to this day. Give our young players a genuine look before looking at spending 7 figures on another teams academy player.
Agree 2 million is just crazy money, it is far to much for a 17 year old who has had a few 1st team games. Talent is often shown at this age but does not necessarily come to anything, Jamie Ness, Lewis Mcleod, Ryan Gauld, Islam Feruz etc etc Where are they now…
