He probably won’t be the new John Brown…he’ll be the finest Ross McCrorie! He has the potential to be one of the best mid-fielders Rangers have had and I hope he continues to listen to Garry McAlister and Steven Gerrard, and plays regularly, from now on! Future Rangers and Scotland Captain!

I always felt Brown was underrated. At Dundee they raved about his skill and creativity but at Ibrox the media focused on his strength. McCrory has a distance to go to match Brown but he could be in that mould.
