Rangers midfielder Ross McCrorie is facing a crunch season after being on the fringes of Steven Gerrard’s starting XI for much of last season. The midfielder hasn’t been able to cement a regular starting place at Ibrox but is highly thought of by Gerrard, with the Gers boss calling him a ‘future captain.’ (Photo by…
Agreed. Anyone who is not going to be playing should go on loan, to SPL or English Championship if possible. They gain experience, raise standards in Scotland, take points off our rivals. What’s not to like?
I’m really surprised that Gerrard sees him as a bit player! He’s a really good player, ideal for defensive midfield. They say he’s up against the boy from Dundee/Finland, who’s the latest great hope. He’s done well!
However, one injury, and McCrorie might be needed.
Tonight England had Declan Rice playing in a similar spot to McCrorie…was he better than Ross? I don’t think so! Stevie G talks a lot about giving chances to our younger players? When’s that happening? At the moment they’re either on loan or bench warming??
