Reports linking Rangers to South African international midfielder George Maluleka have resurfaced after it was revealed the 31-year-old has rejected a new contract at current club Kaizer Chiefs. Rangers were linked to the defensive midfielder back in December by local South African press [SunSport]. With his contract expiring at the end of the season, and…

Never mind any more defensive midfielders ffs - what we need is an attacking mindset & midfield where the ball is going forward (not sideways) - last nights performance was utter misery to watch (plenty of chances but no finishing) - we appear now to be incapable of grabbing games by the scruff of the neck and battering forward. It has become all too slow. Too much tippy tappy playing out from the back - sometimes route 1 is needed. I have no doubt that we have footballers in the team just now, some more gifted than others. I watched Billy Gilmour play for Chelsea the other night - why are we not blooding some of our homegrown crop who know and understand the passion, as a fan, about being a Ranger. Stevie G is learning his craft at Rangers just now and whilst i hate to admit it - patience will be required if he is to build something. Trouble is fans want success and being patient isn’t always easy when mistakes are happening regularly. C’mon Rangers lets get intae them ffs.

We couldn’t keep Billy Gilmour, but we have others. McCrorie is a CB being moved around the pitch, give him a chance. Same with some of the other youth. Can’t be any worse that what we are watching.
Hamilton can blood teenagers and beat Rangers, why can’t we blood teenagers and beat Hamilton?

It is now the time to drop several of the shocking underperformers and allow other players, including our talented youngsters, a chance to show they know what it means to wear a Rangers shirt. The results could not become any worse. On this form Bayer Leverkusen are going to give us a tanking. The reaction of Greegsy at the goal last night says it all, he must be sick of playing behind a shower of didies.
