Italian outfit Atalanta have signed former Liverpool and Fenerbahce defender Martin Skrtel, effectively ending tiresome links to Rangers. Kent is a fine player on his day. But Jordan Jones is a BRILLIANT player and we own him.
Likewise, Glen Middleton is a game changer no less than Ryan. And we own him.
Skitters? You had your chance son, now sit back and regret every ounce.

It was always unlikely that Skirtel would join us, as his wages would have been ridiculous! He’s also not at the best end of his career and we’ve signed good cover in the Centre Back area this summer.
He’s also got a good PR man as an agent, who knows how to manipulate the Media, by sowing the seeds of prospects of transfers, all designed to get the cash he and Skirtel want.
He was a good player for Liverpool, but they let him go 4-5 years ago, because he was on the wane then!

The only folk who thought he was coming to us are on another planet. Basically we have 4 good centre halves, all; under the age of 30, 2 of which are internationals, who will push one another the full season. The boy obviously has an agent touting him about the place for a last pay day. This and the Kent stories have ran their race.
