Rangers take on Celtic at Ibrox this afternoon in the first Old Firm of the 2019/20 campaign. The Gers come into the game in strong form. Just three days ago, Steven Gerrard’s side qualified for the Europa League courtesy of a 1-0 aggregate win over Legia Warsaw. For the second year running, they made it…
I’m fed up…gers buy ten players this season only one plays from start today…why? Helander from Bologna, King from Leicester a premiership winner 50 odd caps for Wales…Ojo, Jones, Barker and Hastie with pace to burn. Morelos and Greg Stewart young fit and raring to go but we play a 36 year old up front. pathetic.
We were on minibus from killie when team came thru and we all said then no this team at start is wrong stifle midfield square passes back to keeper absolute shite Gerrard wrong simples.
No doubt a major selection/tactical error from the boss - just hopefully a mistake that won’t be repeated!
Quite sure Stevie knows this and rectify it soon.
will be difficult to rectify in future if Morelos is banned and Dafoe injured, in fact even having Dafoe is not good he is 36 and has done nothing apart from 3 goals against the ten men if hibs.
The Parlane echo chamber in full flow this week
And the Kingholmesball stalker needs to get a life…please leave me alone if you don’t like my views I am very sorry. I am not a robot and have views and ideas of my own, and I am a rangers man through and through, a season ticket holder for twenty seven years and will give praise when its due and criticism when its due, I pay my season ticket and spend lots of cash on following Rangers I have a right to an opinion, if you don’t like it say so then move on, stop pestering me and trolling me like some sort of weirdo. Go and get counselling or something …please stop stalking my comments and find some of your own…your becoming a bit of a concern.
Correction parlane two of Defoe’s goal were against 11 men v Hibs
oops …Point I was making was hibs were garbage.
Mate you’re trolling this site with your constant doomsday drivel after one bad result
Get a life…I have been saying for weeks how I have been worried about signings and Rangers progress, if you honestly think this is about one defeat by SEPTIC you really need to grow up and find your own voice. there are loads of subjects on here to discuss go off and express your views…PLEASE GO OFF AND EXPRESS YOUR VIEWS…leave me alone…still cannot believe you are still pestering me. Have you nothing to say about Rangers, or rangers players, or football in general, have you no interest in anything other than my comments, …LEAVE ME ALONE YOU WEIRDO.
I post plenty views on here calm down mate - and I’m well within my rights to call you out for posting continually negative and ill thought out drivel - dry your eyes
Last season was Gerrard’s first in charge and the job he did to take us from the utter pish of the previous season and (a) into the europa league (b) into a clear 2nd place in the league was brilliant - however the squad was too thin and we were burst by Christmas - couldn’t sustain it.
This pre-season Gerrard acknowledged this and said his priority was to have two players fighting for every position - and he’s done a fantastic job of this in most fans opinions with the likes of Edmundson and Helander fighting for centre back spots, Aribo, Jones and Ojo joining a strong group of midfielders and now Kent (our best player from last season) coming back to really add some quality to the team. It’s early days but so far Rangers have shown they can compete on multiple fronts effectively while rotating the squad to keep the guys fresh - that’s a big step forward from last season. Plus they’ve shown a grit and belief to grind out some late 1-0 wins which are actually a big step forward from losing most of those tight ones last year - those sorts of results are crucial for any team with title aspirations in a long season.
Another point I think you seem oblivious to is that the likes of Aribo and Ojo are very young players who have a lot of maturing and growth still to come - they both have huge potential and it’s pure folly to judge either on a handful of games (although it must be noted Aribo has actually been our best player on a couple of occasions).
And finally Kent - you keep banging on about him not having won anything as if that disqualifies his talent and potential. Not only was he our best player last year, he’s also still got massive potential to develop and become even better, and really importantly he is desperate to pull on the rangers shirt every week and loves the club - he’s an absolutely wonderful signing and we’re lucky to have him.
a book…haha…lol…your missing Scotland giving Russia a decent game…you need to chill out…lol…Cannot believe you wrote all that stuff because of me…have you not got a girlfriend? As I have said , I have opinions and so have have you…they don’t need to be the same give it a rest chill out go and have a sauna or a bottle of bucky…stop pestering me. As for Rangers team, in my opinion we are standing still and spending way over odds for one player, you say ““we are lucky to have Kent”” but nobody else wanted him we payed 7 million for him. Are you on cloud COCKOO land. Also young players on loan is not what we need we need success with established players, like it or lump it its my opinion now feck aff and leave me alone stalker boy.
Scotland giving Russia a decent game? Sums your opinions up mate
Still stalking me I see. Here you go again talking mince, when I said a decent game Scotland were winning 1-0 what is your problem??
