Your last paragraph sums it up “Rangers need to add quality that will immediately improve the first team” and I agree with what you are saying about Tulloch.
But we need quality proven players this year that are going to hit the ground running, proven first team goal scorers rather than prospects.
It wouldn’t do him any harm getting his apprenticeship under Defoe, so only sign him as a 3rd or 4th choice striker.
