Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has admitted that he needs to take some of the blame for today’s disappointing 2-0 Old Firm defeat – and insists that Jon Flanagan is the only player who can leave Ibrox tonight with his “head held high.” The full-back started ahead of Borna Barisic at left-back and had a disappointing…

Yes, probably Jon Flanagan’s best game for us but Steve Davis certainly deserved pass marks too. Mistake though was not playing wingers against a team without a decent full back. Also Alfredo and Jordan Jones should have started the game. Certainly shows up what a Ryan Kent would bring to the team. Still hopefully just a hiccup. Keep believing. WATP.

We’ve got some good players, but too many midfielders passing the ball about just in front of our 18 yard box? There was virtually no play going forward apart from hopeful punts and goal kicks upfield towards Defoe? He had no chance against the Celtic defenders in the air?

Although we’ve also got loads of wingers on the books, we only started Ojo, who was ineffective and couldn’t get a pass going all day.

The only players I’d say did well were Davis and McGregor…the rest were very average today.
