Would be great, but depends on what kind of wage he is looking for and whether he could handle the grief. We would also have to lose a couple of midfielders to make some space in the squad.
Mind you, we could let Motherwell have a couple of players on loan for a season, say Holt, Dodoo, Docherty and Hastie
Buying him is operating at Celtics level, in other words doing things to get one over rivals without thinking things through. As much as he is a decent player paying three million for a guy who has not played in Europe or in an international fixture just to get one over our rivals is pathetic. He has had one decent half of a season and he is worth 3 million yeah right…lol. We get Hastie for nothing, that’s getting one over rivals, let celtic spend the cash I’m sure Gerrard could come up with a far more talented and experienced player for three million than Turnbull.
