We have struggled for goals over the last three games and all your changes come in midfield and defence .Davis will not come in for Arfield as he does not play the same position in midfield and would reduce our goal threat even more .Goldson will not be dropped .
Halliday for Barisic and McCrorie for Kamara are the likeliest changes for me although I would like to see either Defoe or Lafferty in, probably for Candias .
Point taken on the struggle for goals not being resolved by changing defenders. The thought on Goldson was less an outright dropping, more a bit of a rest. Although in hindsight, perhaps with the international break coming up, that’s unlikely.
The last time these two played each other though, Morelos scored four, Candeias got a hat-trick of assists and Kent set one up too. Think Killie would be delighted if any of those three don’t start!
Yeah they did brilliantly …against 10 men though .In the two league games and the first cup game they have stifled us and they will be out to do it again .We should give them something they don`t expect especially since the front 3 have only scored one goal between them in the last 3 games . Switching things around might just unsettle them.
The problems are with the quality of the wide players .
They ate simply not consistent enough .
Every single dropped point comes from poor quality in front three .
It’s hard criticize Alfredo so it falls on Kent and candias who for me are simply not consistent enough .
They are brilliant on their game bt have too many of days which all seem to fall at crucial times .
I agree Jack needs dropped for mcrorie also halliday in till barasic grows a pair of balls .
Unfortunatly I don’t see us improving until our best and most valuable players are our two wide forwards .
I’d sell tav, candias and allow Kent go home
And let Morales go to raise cash for top players to play wide and give Defoe and laff and hardie a chance .
I’d bring skirtel in and shinnie at lb.
