Brilliant performance - it was against a severely weakened Dons side admittedly, but good teams take advantage of these situations and we did that and smashed them today
- Great to see Stewart put in a performance like that (another bench warmer who Gerrard has clearly succeeded in keeping hungry and fit)
- Yet another clean sheet
- Defoe is an unbelievable sub to have, can’t stop scoring
Young Boys will not be looking forward to us visiting this week
Dude c’mon 6 for McGregor that is just daft and an insult to the goalie, we just beat Aberdeen 5 nil a clean sheet and he could have had a really bad injury. If not for his bravery a goal may have been scored against us, saying that Cosgrove deserved a red. Its not his fault he was not involved in making hunners of saves, as for helping out Katic that was brilliant. You obviously were not at the match if you were you must be deaf or asleep. McGregor was constantly arranging his defence his distribution was perfect, 6 is a kick in the teeth change it to a nine or you are sacked…lol.
Rangers were very very good today but that was the worst Aberdeen side I have seen in over 60 years of watching the Gers. I am not going to get carried away with the result, always good to beat the ‘sheep’ but they were rank rotten.
Agreed Sunshine Boy…Aberdeen were coming off a defeat in the cup after playing extra time and had key guys out injured, its not lost on true supporters this was a great win but against a very weakened side.
