Oh please - happy to celebrate and embrace the progress after the Aberdeen game, and then it’s ‘wake up time’ after conceding a last minute goal away in Europe against a higher ranked side in a game we actually performed well in barring two mistakes from one of our best players
Aberdeen had 7 first team players out and were playing off a lengthy tough game against hearts that went to extra time. It was a good performance against Aberdeen but I for one was not carried away. I still stick by what I said previously, we struggle against better opposition. Some results are worrying we got beat by Celtic and we have had two draws and a defeat as well as a last minute goal win in europe it’s not great.
Agree Tav was poor last night, it’s only when you play against teams with CL experience that you find out how good your players are is there a better right back in Scotland SG could realistically sign in January?Not sure if the Italian right back at MU is still looking for a club ?as an example even if Rangers got him on loan his wages would be off Rangers scale

Kingholesandbaws what’s embarrassing about changing my mind? it’s dead simple, on reflection a few days after watching the game again on catch up and looking at how many players they had out and reading other people’s views etc, I changed my mind about the performance. I have a right to do this. Being perfectly honest we should have scored 10 against a dreadful Aberdeen side but we only got 5. I can’t believe you went to all that trouble to go and find my old post then cut and paste into yours just so you can say I’m embarrassing. if anybody should be embarrassed it should be you for going to those lengths just to make a pathetic inaccurate post about what I have written it’s actually quite sad. That comment above is utter lies. I have said one thing consistently and that is I am worried about the future because of these issues. I think we are short up front, too many midfielders and changes at the back regarding central defence is causing us problems. The only thing I changed my mind on was the Aberdeen result and I have given valid reason for doing so.
