Thought the game was in the Scottish Cup ? Anyway , under normal circumstances you could be right but after a two and a half week break the first team will need a game so that they are up and running for Wednesday .We missed this game last season and paid the price against Killie .I would expect the first team ,more or less ,will start with a couple of subs early in the second half (hopefully youngsters rather than Murphy and Docherty ).
