Kilmarnock right-back Stephen O’Donnell insists that Rangers new boy Jermain Defoe must show respect to other players in the Scottish Premiership. Defoe joined the Gers on loan this month from Bournemouth and has a bigger reputation than most Scottish clubs combined. Jermain Defoe has scored goals at all levels in English Football, from his start at Charlton, to West Ham, Tottenham, and Sunderland. He’s never seemed a “Big I am” type…he just loves scoring goals!
I’m sure he’ll respect all his forthcoming opponents and will let his boots do his talking…unlikely Scally Joe Barton, who upset everybody by proclaiming he was the best player in Scotland?? Should’ve gone to Specsavers!!
I wish JD well and hope he scores a bagful of goals for Rangers, during his time at Ibrox!
Never mind having to show respect to the Scottish league , Jermain will need to learn to jump as he wont believe the tackles hammer throwers like ODonnell and his thug team mates Power and Dicker get away with .Personally Im more concerned about these two animals than I am the plastic pitch causing serious injury tomorrow night . ODonnell wouldn`t be talking this way if Defoe had signed for his club ,Celtic .
