My patience wore with him a little towards the end of the season; he’s a decent shot-stopper but he couldn’t organise a p*ss up in a brewery, never mind a defence. He’s no way near vocal enough. It’s a shame, as he can do all the hard parts - reflex saves, distribution etc. but for some reason wouldn’t shout instructions to his teammates. Among MANY other things I definitely think this hindered our chances of survival. Apparently we’ve put in a bid for him so it will be interesting to see what happens.
This is really interesting, as I remember you saying how well he was doing earlier in the season. I wonder if that lack of communication is why Rangers don’t seem to have any interest in bringing him back. Interesting to see what sort of money would be involved in a transfer, too.
