I don’t know if he is good enough for us. But there is only one way to find out. Give him a 3 yr contract with a 1 yr option on our side. Pay him a minimum acceptable amount, but point out Morelos has had 3 payrises in the last 15 months. If he delivers, it’s a bargain and he gets payrises and longer contracts. If he fails, he will have tried and he will cost us a fraction of what Pena did, not including the fee we paid. But if we don’t give him a shot, we will never know. Remember, we played a young left back that we could have picked up from Queens Park for nothing. Andy something. Sure he has gone on to be decent, somewhere in England.
