TEAMtalk reports that Rangers are ‘lining up’ a bid for Kilmarnock forward Eamonn Brophy. It’s suggested that after the English window shut without the 23-year-old securing a move south of the border, Steven Gerrard is now keen on swooping. Brophy celebrates scoring against Hibs at the back end of last season. (photo by Alan Rennie/Action…
Brophy is not a striker.
Plays middle to front.
If he was a striker, you couldn’t possibly take him with his goal ratio.
Much better option than Greg Stewart who offers very little and is nowhere near whats required.
Of course hes a striker , they play with one up front and its Brophy .Last season they played with him up front supported by Jones and Stewart until January when Stewart went to the sheep.Im not sure Brophy scores enough goals but you will not get someone who is prolific to come to be third choice with little chance of playing.
I would still rather see us going for Shankland🤔
Stevie G said very recently that they would only be interested in another signing if an outstanding opportunity became available. With the greatest respect to Brophy, I don’t think he could be described as an outstanding opportunity.
I doubt this story has any foundation…
I don’t mean any offence… but I hope not.
Just get us a proper left back and get Barasic in the bin
