Rangers star Jon Flanagan could yet face retrospective punishment for his clash with Celtic captain Scott Brown, according to the Scottish Sun. The Rangers full-back got a yellow for a clash with the Celtic midfielder as Rangers prepared to defend a corner in Sunday’s 2-0 Old Firm win. Brown jumped to the floor holding his…
He booked Flanagan and apparently told everyone that he had seen the incident so how can they change the card to a red.It is scandalous how the Compliance Officer only looks at things highlighted by the T.V stations .Is she looking at Simunovics elbow on Defoe ? We should stop staying silent and ask this question . There is a video doing the rounds of Brown elbowing , Holt , Miller and others in past OF games .Lets get that out there too and ask for consistency .The seasons over lets get into them over their lack of action since we raised this earlier this season.
Sorry I need to disagree. It was stupid from Flanagan, it could easily have been a red card and a penalty with some other refs, no names but I’m sure we all know who. This constant sticking up for rangers players when they are blatantly acting outwith the laws of the game is not helpful. It is not OK, if the stupid actions of Flanagan and Morelos happened to be Brown on a Rangers player would we be saying the above rubbish such as it was only a “wee niggle”. We could have won the league if it was not for having to play teams with ten men. Sorry to say it but Lennon was right we need to sort out the stupid behaviour. As for Brown I’m not bothered what he has done in the past thats his problem, I’m only interested in Rangers players and their conduct and it needs to improve drasticly. Cameron Willis once again I cannot believe the rubbish you spout. Flanagan had an ok game but with no Forrest that was to expected.
