The Belfast Telegraph reports that Rangers are in talks with Josh Magennis. The Bolton striker has a year left on his current deal, but it’s said that due to his club’s financial difficulties, he could be allowed to leave either for free, or on the cheap. Magennis in action for Bolton against Middlesborough in April.…
God I hope not , we are looking for a bit of quality up front not another journeyman donkey. Look at his list of clubs and he hasn`t impressed or scored goals at any of them. We would be as well to keep Lafferty as he is a much better player than this guy.
Exactly. List Magennis, Lafferty and Shankland in terms of proven output or potential and Lafferty is in the middle, below Shankland and above Magennis. May be a nice guy, but really not what we want or need.
Yeah this wouldn’t represent any kind of progress. Hopefully nothing much in it and can’t see how he could have actively been engaging in ‘talks’ considering he was in Belarus at the time this came out.
