Barisic may or may not adapt to the physical side of the Scottish game but for me he’s proven the class and skill for set pieces which let’s face it might be the difference playing teams that play defensive football.
It was definitely the difference at the weekend, St Mirren looked very solid otherwise. For me, he still looked dodgy in open play and we’re still waiting to see more of the quality crossing he showed when he first arrived. Hopefully the free-kick will give him the confidence he needed though!
