Rangers travel to Hearts in the Scottish Cup knowing anything other than a victory will turn up the pressure on Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard. Toiling in the league and having fallen at the final hurdle of the Betfred Cup, for many the William Hill Scottish Cup is the club’s only realistic chance of silverware. Opponents…
Hearts are getting their sorry, lucky, flash in the pan ar*e kicked today.
They play the high line, Kent and Morelos to score today with balls over the top from Hagi, and he might score as well
Last time out, Hearts played high up the park and pressed us. Played us at our own game, and we were beaten by our own errors. They’ll do the exact same. We must want it more. We must keep calm under the pressure and we must get our bloody passing sorted. It’s one of our several weaknesses right now. Loose passing. Reluctance to try shots from range. Defensively switching off at key moments. Wasting penalties. If we can tighten up all that, then we’d be an utter joy to watch, instead of the behind-the-sofa games we have had in the past months.
I’m surprised you lot still feel able to publish more of this ‘it will be fine, we’re too good for this mob’ nonsense! Complacency and failing to fight for the right to play has been our downfall in 2020 and background noise like this is never helpful. I’ve been saying for sometime we should cash in on Morelos and rebuild but now I’m worried nobody will pay for him cause he’s a liability that has cost us the league and the cup. I for one am sick of him letting us down! He’s using us as a stepping stone and his hearts not really in it.
