There is no place for sentiment here, Rangers simply must win the league this year.
For me having Katic is a big bonus, he’s very young and will be an excellent defender in a few years time, Gerrard is building for a future with young players, but also conscious of the need to win now!
Very similar to loan players, if we get Kent, then both Liverpool players on each wing will be exceptional pace, meanwhile, Jones and Hastie will be maturing nicely in the background.
