My advice is simple keep scoring for your team, he owes the press nothing. If they require an interview ask for 50k for fifteen mins tell them you took advice from Gary Lineker and that’s the going rate if they say no tell them not to contact you again as the DR is too cheap. He could donate the 50k to his charity, Ah let’s make it 75k for charity. See how the the cheap boys handle that.
Why don’t Gordon Parks and Gavin Berry respect Morelos by learning Spanish so they can interview him in his native language? Oh yes, they can’t be arsed and have an unearned sense of entitlement.

He probably feels his English isnt good enough to risk them misinterpreting his comments for the sake of a headline .As a Rangers fan , he owes me nothing as long as he continues to play and score the way he does .He certainly owes the journalists who continually slate him absolutely nothing .I agree with the comments above who rightly point out that Clancy should be asked to step up and explain how he missed a blatant hand ball goal and 3 ordering offs .Why are they exempt from interviews but players have to give them . If I was a Rangers player I wouldnt speak to them either and after all it was good enough for Davie Cooper who never gave interviews when he was a Gers player.
As far as I’m led to believe Alfie doesn’t speak much English,so this would just give these twats more fuel for their fire.He could always do what Eric Cantona did and just tell them anything…Remember his story about the seagulls! It’s refreshing that a player takes a stance to avoid unnecessary contact with the media, who are always looking for the “controversial twist” in any statement made. Morelos isn’t confident in his English, so doesn’t put himself at risk of being misinterpreted! Very sensible…especially as the press pack are so anti - Rangers and anti-Morelos.
Just keep quiet and keep banging them in. That’s the best policy!
