Leading up to the derby there was plenty of talk of Alfredo Morelos and a red card. Little did we know it would actually come to fruition and Rangers would be left up against it. Let’s not beat around the bush. Morelos let Rangers fans down. And they’ve had plenty to say about it.

I agree that Morelos let himself, his team mates, the club and the supporters down. No excuse.
But take issue with “forget Scott Brown” Man is a thug in a jersey. Deliberately rakes Morelos’ Achilles. Not an accident. Deliberate. How can Scottish football move forward and improve while behaviour like that is acceptable. I am not excusing Morelos. But as long as thugs like Brown, Broadfoot and others can target footballers in the way they do, people will laugh at our league and our National team.
We need to move forward. Players need to play football and not think it is acceptable to target others for assault with impunity. McKenna, first game of the season, no punishment for barging Morelos, miles off the ball. No punishment, so everybody else learns. You can attack Rangers players without comeback. Either we need to clean up the game here, leave it, or bring in some hammer throwers as Souness did with Terry Hurlock
