Rangers chairman Dave King has announced his intention to step down from his role in the New Year, saying Rangers no longer needs his support in that capacity anymore. Thank you to Dave King for stabilising our club and best wishes to you for the future. Without you our Manager wouldn’t have been here. You have laid down the foundation for our club to return to its rightful position as Scotland’s Premier club. WATP.
Dave King brought together the board, the management the players and the fan base and has sewn the seeds for a great future. I for one can’t thank him enough for giving us our great club back.
I’m sorry to see Dave King stand down. He has been an immense figure, who has put Rangers back up at the top of the game. His vision, in getting Steven Gerrard as Manger, with his good team, was inspired.
I just hope that, whoever takes the position of Chairman, manages to maintain the good relationship with Gerrard and that the team deliver what King deserves…a Scottish title, and a place in the Champions League qualifiers in 20/21.
Well done Dave King!
