Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to complain about the club’s Continuous Credit Card Scheme (CCCS) with regards tickets to cup finals and away matches. Some fans have been left disappointed by the Cup Final ballot which has naturally seen some of the most loyal fans around miss out on a ticket. Others are disappointed…
There has always been a lack of transparency over ticket allocation. Going back a bit here but the way tickets were handled for the 2008 UEFA cup final left a bad taste in the mouth. I had a season ticket for 24 years running then and folk who had not been to a game in years managed to get a ticket whereas I received no information from the club on my chances are how the allocation would be managed. Seems things have still not improved. Too many tickets find their way into the same hands. We need a fair and transparent system… should add I bought a ticket for every single home tie in that competition that season. I wonder how many didn’t and still managed to get a ticket for the final?
