Rangers fans rage at media claims club "dodged" UEFA singing charge

Rangers have been charged by UEFA for the use of “fireworks” in the club’s recent 2-2 draw with Feyenoord [BBC Scotland] after a week of worrying reports in the media. Supporters lit an array of red flares in the middle of a display in the de Kuip and the club will likely get a fine…

Regardless of how the media report this and regardless of whether the fans sang sectarian songs, this should be the wake up call we need.

  1. UEFA don’t like fire works. (A) Don’t use them.
  2. UEFA don’t like sectarian songs (A) Don’t sing them.
  3. The Scottish media are hounding Rangers. (A) Don’t give them a chance too.
  4. FARE will do anything to report Rangers. (A) Do not give them the chance either.

In essence, never ever hand your enemy an advantage. Fans need to ditch the fenian song, ditch the flares and be very mindful of the hatred towards us. Kill them with kindness by behaving, they will be beside themselves. It’s genuinely not that difficult.

As for the biased media, see point three.

Uefa letting Rangers off with sectarian singing…but then charge them for setting off fireworks!!! Perfect joke for a Christmas cracker.
Let’s be honest…if there was singing ,Rangers would be in the dock again.

I understand that a number of members of the Scottish Main Stream Media have not been charged with sexual offences against children. We should rejoice with them that they seem to have “got off” with this.

If there was no UEFA charge for Sectarian singing ,then it didnt happen .They have been watching us like hawks so we wouldnt have got away with it.
Our fans should not be letting off flares but we know the punishment … a very small fine ,like Celtic have had the last dozen times.
