Didnt I read the same thing about the signing of Davis and Kamara in the winter , about Docherty when we signed him , Jack when we signed him and why we shouldnt sign Arfield because he was a tim. The usual stupidity from the usual place .The manager must have a reason so that good enough for me.

Our academy seems to be producing good young players judging by the tournaments they are competing in. Why are we bringing in old players on loan and letting the young talent go? eg Andrew Dallas. Is the young talent really not that good?

This is something that’s concerning me a little at the minute and that we discussed on the podcast this week. There doesn’t seem to be much of a genuine incentive for the best young players at the club right now. Ultimately, short-term success is the priority, but at some stage the Academy is going to have to be utilised, otherwise the whole thing is a pointless exercise!
