Sectarian singing is part of Rangers culture , it’s part of Scottish culture , I’m not saying it’s right in this day and age but you can’t deny it’s part of our culture like it or not

Yeah it’s time people stopped singing the backwards shite. All this Billy boys pish is a load of nonsense. My wife was brought up a Catholic and supports Rangers, all of this is just embarrassing and just gives fuel for the media and our rivals to use against us
@James, culture is an ever changing thing. Many things used to be culturally acceptable and no longer are. Slavery, racism, rape, wife beating and incest to name but a few. When you say some things are part of our culture even while you acknowledge it may not be right and ask us to deny this, you need to be clearer. Are you supporting all of these things, or do you wish our club and our society to turn its back on them? Or do we get to pick the parts of the past we leave behind whether other find them odious or not?
Me, I have sung all the songs for almost 50 years, although I did it because I enjoyed the tribalism. I never actually believed Catholics were any different from you or I, or that we were superior. There are Catholics who are much nicer people than some of our knuckle draggers, just as I know several Celtic fans who prefer the company of decent Rangers fans to some of their own knuckle draggers
I will agree with your statement if you change it is to it was. But the alternative is banned from Europe - loss of income - the scum from the East get to 20 in a row. That has never been, is not and cannot ever be allowed to be part of our culture

It’s just embarrassing that we’re still talking about this. It’s time for the support to actually “support” the club rather than hold it back.
In Canada, it’s very different, but very tiring trying to defend our club to supporters from other clubs. We look like Neanderthals. Respect yourselves, your club and other human beings.
