BBC are a disgrace. However, I think that we should now take the high moral ground and allow the BBC back into Ibrox to at least let our own fans get radio commentary of the home games, particularly European games. WATP.

The BBC were not and are not banned from Ibrox. One, very biased, reporter was refused press credentials. He is at liberty to buy a ticket. Every other BBC accredited reporter is welcome. If they report for and against Rangers in an unbiased manner, there is no problem. Rangers do not expect or want special treatment, just equal treatment.
Of course, for the BBC to treat Rangers fairly and equally would require a sea change in their attitude, so I agree it is asking an awful lot.

Has anyone noticed that, while the BBC refuse to provide live commentary on Rangers home games, including European games when they are representing the country, they do appear to make an exception in the case of one club? On 1 September, live commentary was provided of the game versus Celtic, at Ibrox, presumably from a studio somewhere using a live stream to a TV screen. Surely that is an act of supreme hypocrisy and arrogance. It seems as if their high moral stance for freedom of the press can be set aside, but only to avoid any inconvenience to Celtic fans. If they can provide this commentary for licence payers who are Celtic fans, why can’t they provide the same service for Rangers supporting licence payers. Double standards eh?
Leave the paranoia to the Celtic fans - this is a simple spat between two organisations and they both need to grow up and deal with it so we can move on
