Don’t get me wrong here I like Jamie Murphy but he is scoring goals in the third tier of English football.
Now in a recent statement from him he stated since his move he has to adapt to a different way of playing because he cannot run at and go past defenders the same as before his injury.
And in any case the big question is who do you take out the team for Jamie Murphy to play.
He should return next season as he was doing okay before his injury and looked more of a threat than Barker , Ojo or even Jones but we should not go overboard about his current goal return .He is scoring at a lower level but the main thing is he is getting regular game time and getting fit after a really bad injury.
People who are over stating this should think how they would react if it was announced we were signing a 7 goal striker from Burton , underwhelmed probably.
