Doesn’t make sense as a transfer strategy. If we get 15m for Morelos then I’d expect we’d have to spend big on somebody that can do the business, rather than untested potential, otherwise we are just going back to square one.
Rossco, problem is that if you spend big, they want big wages and that upsets the dressing room. Me, I would prefer to go with Shankland and spend Morelos money, and possibly Tavernier money, on a few clever buys at the £2-4 million level.
